Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question about working with DayOne? You’re in the right place.

Here you’ll find answers to the things people most often ask before starting a branding, graphic design, or website project with us, from timelines and pricing to process, deliverables, and how we handle feedback. If you don’t spot what you need, send us a message and we’ll point you in the right direction.

What services do you offer?

As a design agency our core in-house services are in Branding, Graphic Design and Digital Design, including website design and social media graphics. We are also able to offer other creative skills such as Motion Graphic Design, Animation, Photography, Video Editing and Illustration.

How much will it cost?

The requirements of every project are different, and therefore there is no set price for our services. However, we’re able to offer accurate cost estimates by completing our project request form. We aim to get a cost back to you within 24 hours.

What are your pricing structures and payment terms?

We typically charge in 3 parts; 40% of the estimated cost at the beginning of a new project, 30% at an agreed milestone within the project, and then the remaining 30% (+any balancing payment) prior to the completion of the project. Our retainer packages are charged in a single payment at the end of every month. Our payment terms are 21 days.

Do you offer revisions or multiple design concepts?

Within our cost estimates we presume 3 full sets of amendments to be made. If you’re likely to require more than that, we can of course accommodate that within our quote.

Do you provide printing or production services, or design only?

While we don’t have any facility in-house for Printing, we work closely and regularly with several excellent and trusted printers, we’d be happy to manage this for you.

How do you ensure the final design meets our expectations?

Throughout the design and development processes, we’re in regular contact with you, and you will see a variety of concepts and proofs at key points throughout the project. This means you will have seen the design develop, and have opportunities throughout the process to raise any concerns or questions you have, meaning no nasty surprises when it comes to delivery day!

What is your turnaround time?

At the beginning of any project, we’ll outline for you a clear schedule as to when you can expect the project completed and also, when you’ll get the opportunity throughout to review proofs and make comments. We can also accommodate urgent projects, by utilising the experience and expertise of our team.
